Creating natural remedies: a nourishing body butter and a wellness tea blend.

In this two-hour workshop, Earth To Earth Organics will guide participants in creating two natural remedies that promote whole-body wellness: a nourishing body butter with infused oils and a wellness tea blend.

The workshop celebrates the ancient wisdom of African and Caribbean herbal traditions, offering a unique, hands-on experience that honours both cultural heritage and holistic health. Ending with an affirmation session that reminds each participant of a promise made to themselves on the day.

This workshop is curated by Jukebox Collective and delivered as a part of our partnership with SSAP for JAMII 2,  a series of workshops addressing health and wellbeing for African communities in Cardiff.

Guidelines:
– Sign up form is to be completed by one person on behalf of each group

– Groups must have 2-4 participants

– Open to ages 12 and above. Elders highly encouraged
– All equipment and materials will be provided

Earth To Earth Organics is a family owned cruelty-free, eco-friendly, vegan skincare brand. It was created to combat founder Tenesia’s extremely dry, itchy skin after her move from Guyana to England.

In June 2024, they made a huge leap and moved to their dream farm in Wales. Right now, they’re laying the foundations, so they can grow many of the herbs and flowers they use in their products right on their land, giving them even more control over the quality of their ingredients.

Sub-Sahara Advisory Panel (SSAP) was formed in 2009 when a number of African diaspora groups in Wales met to consider how they might collectively advance their common interest in local issues affecting African communities in Wales as well as those in Africa. They apply lived experience, skills, capacity and knowledge found within Welsh African diaspora communities.
