We provide a space where young people feel valued in their own learning; offering high-quality training in street dance alongside a creative skills programme; supporting and nurturing creativity; preparing these individuals for, and creating pathways to, a professional career within the arts.
sessions
Covering a variety of performing art forms, each year we design an exciting programme to ensure our students are engaged and that our classes reflect our students interests. Our dance modules include Popping, Locking, Breakin’, Hip Hop and Contemporary. We focus on encouraging individuality and innovation within each style whilst remaining true to the culture and foundations.
Our other modules include drama, music and multimedia from film-making to photography. Through our multidisciplinary classes, mentoring and industry insight sessions we encourage collaboration, curiosity, artistic freedom and original thinking.
music academy
In 2022 we launched our music academy in partnership with Lab7. Through weekly studio sessions, the programme explores all aspects of music creation, covering song writing, beat making, producing and recording. With a focus on individuality and self-expression, students are encouraged to find their unique sound and style.
Through mentorship, industry insight sessions, go-sees and showcases, students are equipped with the skills and experience needed to become professional music artists.
opportunities
Members of our Academy are frequently considered for professional work. Current and former students have taken part in TV commercials, short films and theatre productions. Alumni from our Academy have gone on to prosper in the creative industries, building the confidence to achieve their personal and artistic goals.
The students also work towards an end of year show, giving them an opportunity to create their own solo pieces as well as performing as a collective.

tutors
Our trained and professional tutors combine their individual style and experience with our unique teaching approach. Alongside our core team, we invite local and international guest teachers that have included Shawn Aimey, Bboy Spin, Brooke Milliner, Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu and Kaner Flex.
