jamii 2: ludi

Craft your family Ludi board

Hosted by The Real Ting, this family workshop allows you to design your own Ludi board, expressing your family’s unique cultural heritage.

Ludi or Ludo, is a classic family board game, in which the two to four players race their tokens to finish rounds across the board. With it’s origins inspired by the ancient Indian game Pachisi, Ludi is popular amongst African and diaspora communities all over the world.

In this workshop, groups of 3-4, will have the chance to customise their own boards, bringing to them their unique culture and creativity.  All materials will be provided!

This workshop is curated by Jukebox Collective and delivered as a part of our partnership with SSAP for JAMII 2,  a series of workshops addressing health and wellbeing for African communities in Cardiff.
